The GrandView at Cottage Hill

Convenience. History. Luxury. Home.

Five Points - DoverKohl

Founded in the mid-to-late 1800’s, Cottage Hill is Montgomery’s oldest intact historic neighborhood, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The neighborhood first served as home to businessmen and prominent railroad personnel who originally developed the area. Over the years, the neighborhood has undergone several transitions, and now finds itself in a revival period, as young professionals, businessmen and women, artists and preservationists work to restore the Victorian cottages and period structures for residential and office spaces. The neighborhood is one of great history and nostalgia, and the renaissance currently underway has again breathed new life into the district.

GrandView residents will be poised to benefit from the revitalization that is in progress in the downtown business and historic districts under Montgomery’s recently approved Downtown Master Plan. Developed by world-renowned town planners, Dover Kohl and Partners, the plan showcases the Five Points section of Cottage Hill in the heart of the resurgence, transforming Montgomery into a city redesigned for smart growth.
